Yoga Teacher & Thai Yoga Massage Therapist

Adam Thomas teaches vinyasa, restorative yoga and yoga nidra to students of all abilities both in the UK and internationally. He offers open classes and leads adventure yoga retreats at his studio A Touch of Zen, in his hometown St Ives, Cornwall, UK. Adam’s yoga retreats are aimed at inspiring students to revitalise their physical, mental and emotional peace or ‘zen’.

Adam combines his decade-strong background in sports science and personal training with his four year spiritual journey of travelling around the world. His experiences merge western science and eastern holistic approaches to health and fitness. He uses his background in bodywork to help students find their best alignment in poses whether to build strength or relieve tension. He puts his calm and soothing voice to use in Yoga Nidra, helping students reach a state of deep relaxation and pure awareness.

CLASS LEVELS

Level 1 – For people who are new to yoga or within their first 5 classes. Foundational, we teach you the basics and then develop a flow sequence.

Level 1-2 – For improvers, those who practice yoga once every 1-2 weeks. Gentle to moderate flows, gradually introducing intermediate poses.

Level 2 – For intermediates, those who practice 1-2 times per week. More vigourous flows grounding down intermediate poses.

Level 2-3 – For improvers looking to advance their yoga, those who practice 2-3 times per week. Moderate difficulty flows with advanced poses broken down workshop style.

Level 3 – For teachers and serious students, those who practice more than 3 times per week. Supporting you to another level of yoga.
